A new life is offered to each of us as a result of God breaking through and coming down for us; living a life that shows us he can understand us; and then obediently sacrificing himself so that we could have life to the full.

The Christmas tree can be a powerful reminder of the story of Jesus and the amazing and difficult sacrifice that he made on our behalf so that we can have relationship with him. We don’t need to be separated by fear or death or darkness; by sin, shame, or bad decisions. We can come to the father and experience abundant life.

That’s how Christmas changes everything.
